About Me

Hi, my name is Kaylen Sather and welcome to my professional portfolio! I am currently an undergraduate at Colorado State University pursuing my art education degree. Art and working with kids have always been passions of mine and I truly can’t wait to help students find their passion in art. On this site you will find my experiences, accomplishments, skills, education, professional goals and objectives. But first, a little about me:

Here you will find my most updated resume with references attached: resume

I am a senior Art Education major with a concentration in photography. I was born and raised in Loveland, Colorado and truly love everything Colorado has to offer, but I have big dreams of seeing the world someday. I love being outdoors-hiking, biking, whatever it takes to get outside. I am also a big vegan food addict, yoga fiend and dance coach, as well as music fanatic.  Art is IMG_1856clearly my first love though and that’s why I am pursing my art education degree. I really love to explore all mediums but photography and printmaking are my real fortes.  I have had the opportunity to work with varying levels closely including two middle school art classrooms, one
high school art class, one elementary art class, and a group of special needs young adults.I have a strong belief that all students have inherent worth deserving of the best of our time, energy, and resources and I can’t wait to share that with your kids. I hope to help students grow emotionally, intellectually, and socially and encourage them to express themselves creatively. I can’t wait to share my love of art with  students and teach them of all the possibilities art opens.
